I'm a character illustrator working in the furry community since 2023. Every commission runs through the same process of a real intake, a sketch you approve before I render, and delivery in exactly the format you need.
I treat this as a business, not a hobby so every project follows the same written terms, and very much unlike most artists, I don't ask for anything upfront. You only pay once you've seen the finished piece and you're genuinely happy with it.

  3. Color & Render - Full rendering begins only after sketch approval.

How do I start a commission?
Fill out the commission request form linked in Homepage, Contact, or Pricelist tabs. No cold DMs needed. Expect a follow-up within 48 hours.
Do you take payment upfront?
No, you will be asked to pay only after the first results are shown and you are satisfied with the ongoing progress.
What species or characters will you draw?
I draw anthro characters only such as canines, felines, foxes, dragons, hybrids. All designs are original, created from scratch based on your description. My work is strictly SFW and expressive, stylized character art without sexualization, though some pieces may include shirtless or physique-focused characters in line with normal SFW furry art conventions.
Do you do NSFW work?
No - this is a strictly SFW portfolio and commission service.
How many revisions do I get?
Minor fixes are free at every stage. Major changes after sketch approval such as pose, anatomy, composition may carry a fee. See Terms of Service.
What's your turnaround time?
Stickers: about 7 business days. Illustrations: about 14. Bundle timelines are quoted individually.
Can I use the art commercially?
With a purchased Commercial License, priced at +50% of the base commission. See Terms of Service.
Do you offer anything for returning clients?
Yes and that is priority queue placement and 10% off from your third commission onward, plus a private consistency file so future pieces stay on-model.

Hi, and thanks for considering a commission! This document covers everything about how working together actually works from payment, process, what happens in the less-common situations, all of it. It's written to be genuinely readable, not just legally thorough, so please actually read it before reaching out. By submitting a request or sending over reference materials, you're agreeing to what's below.

1. Who this applies to, and a quick age note
These terms apply to anyone commissioning me for illustration work. You need to be 18 or older (or the age of adulthood where you live) to commission me and by submitting a request, you're confirming that's true. I may occasionally ask for reasonable confirmation of this, and I can decline or stop a commission if it turns out it isn't.
2. What I draw
I create safe-for-work (SFW) character illustration and that's it. I don't accept anything sexually explicit, hate symbolism, or content promoting violence or discrimination, and I can turn down any request that doesn't sit right with me personally, without needing to explain why. That's not personal and it's just part of running this the way I want to.
3. Your character, and making sure it's really yours to commission
Before I start, I need you to confirm one simple thing such as the character you're commissioning is either your own original creation, or you have real, explicit permission from whoever does own it. If it's based on a copyrighted character from a game, show, or other media, I may ask a few questions to make sure this falls within normal fan-art territory before I take it on.
A related, slightly more technical point is if something you ask me to draw or reference material you send me ends up causing a legal issue with a third party (say, someone's copyright gets genuinely infringed because of what you asked for), that's on you to sort out, not me. I'm just the one holding the pencil and you're the one telling me what to draw. This is a standard part of how professional art commissions work, not something specific to you.
4. How a commission actually moves
Every commission goes through the same steps, in this order:

  • You reach out with your reference, what you're looking for, and any relevant details.

  • I confirm the scope and price and usually within 48 hours I let you know where you land in the queue.

  • I send a sketch. You review it and give the go-ahead before anything gets rendered.

  • I move into full color and rendering, once the sketch is approved.

  • I send a finished, watermarked preview for you to look over.

  • Once you're happy with it, I send an invoice and this is the only point where I ask for payment (more on that below).

  • Once that's paid, I send your full-resolution files.

5. Talking to each other
I keep you updated without you needing to chase me for it. In return, I ask that you get back to me within about 48 hours when I need your feedback or approval on something and it's what keeps your piece moving instead of stalling in the queue. We'll communicate through whatever channel you pick when you submit your request (Discord is my personal preference, but I'll work with what's easiest for you).
6. Pricing — what "starting rate" actually means
Every price you see on my pricelist is a starting rate for standard complexity and not a locked-in final number. Things like an extra character, a detailed background, or a rush deadline add to that base price, using the add-on rates I publish alongside the catalog. For anything genuinely custom (like a Group Scene commission), I'll quote you directly. Either way, you'll always see and agree to the real final price before I start any actual rendering with no surprise invoices.
7. Payment — and why it works differently here
This is probably the most important section, so here it is plainly >>> I don't ask for any payment upfront. No deposit, nothing due just to join the queue. You only pay once you've seen the finished piece and you're genuinely happy with it and that's the whole deal.
Once you've confirmed you're satisfied with the final preview, I'll send you an invoice through PayPal. I don't accept Friends & Family transfers, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or anything else that isn't traceable. Invoiced payment only, for both our sakes. If your commission is $200 or more, I'm happy to split that single invoice into two payments if that's easier for you so just mention it when you approve the final preview. Your full-resolution files go out once payment clears.
8. Previews before payment
Every preview you see before you've paid such as the sketch, and the final piece are watermarked and a bit lower resolution than the final files. That's not about not trusting you, it's genuinely what makes the no-deposit model possible at all. You can still see everything you need to judge the piece properly and it's just not the exact file you'll get once it's paid for.
9. Revisions — what's free, and where the line is
Here's exactly what's included at no extra cost:

  • Up to 2 rounds of changes at the sketch stage such as pose, composition, general concept.

  • Small fixes at final review such as a color tweak, a stray line, minor proportion stuff.

  • Extended commercial (larger production, brand use) / +100%

  • Exclusive buyout (removed from portfolio) / custom quote

Anything bigger after you've already approved a stage is a totally different pose, a new outfit, an added character counts as new work. I'll quote that separately before touching it, and you can always just take the piece as originally approved instead if you'd rather not add extra cost.
10. Timelines
Roughly 7 business days for stickers, about 14 for full illustrations starting once we've confirmed the quote and I have everything I need from you. These are honest estimates, not hard promises. If something's going to run long, I'll tell you as soon as I know, rather than let a deadline quietly slip past.
11. Need it faster?
A rush request adds a 50% fee on top of the base price, and depends on whether my schedule actually allows it, so I'll always tell you honestly if a deadline isn't realistic rather than take it on and let you down.
Going the other way is if you genuinely don't have a deadline and don't mind sitting a little further back in the queue when things get busy, let me know. That gets you 10% off instead, since it gives me more flexibility in how I schedule things.
12. If I don't hear from you for a while
Since nothing's holding your spot financially, staying in touch is really what keeps your place in the queue. If I don't hear back from you for 14 days after asking for feedback or approval, I'll put your commission on hold. After 30 total days of silence, I'll assume you've moved on, close the file, and open that slot to someone else. If you come back later, you're always welcome to submit a new request, so just know you'd be joining the queue fresh rather than picking back up where you left off.
12.a
Returning-client pricing and referral credit are both applied based on your actual order history, at my discretion and they're not something that stacks with each other unless I say otherwise, and they can't be applied backward onto a commission that's already finished. If you're ever unsure where you stand (like whether an order counts toward your third-commission discount), just ask — happy to clarify.
13. Changing your mind
On your end: you can step away from a commission any time before payment, no penalty, since nothing's been charged yet. I'd just appreciate a quick heads-up rather than going quiet, so I can close things out properly.
On my end: I can also step back from a commission if something genuinely requires it such as a conduct issue, or something like a serious personal emergency (see the Force Majeure section below). If that happens through no fault of yours, you owe nothing for the incomplete work, and I'll do my best to point you toward another artist if it makes sense.
14. Commissioning something as a surprise or a gift
If you're commissioning something as a gift and need it kept under wraps until a certain date, just let me know so I'll do my genuine best to hold off on posting or sharing it until then. I can't promise it's airtight if something outside my control causes it to leak, but I'll make every reasonable effort.
15. What happens to work that never gets paid for
Since I don't collect anything upfront, here's the fair trade-off >>> If a commission gets cancelled, or goes quiet long enough to count as abandoned (see Section 12), the artwork stays mine. I can finish it, post it, recolor it for someone else, or otherwise treat it exactly as if the commission never happened. This is really the thing that makes the no-deposit model sustainable for me and without it, unpaid work would just be a straight loss every time.
16. Who owns the finished art
I hold the copyright on everything I create, whether or not it ends up getting paid for. Once you've paid, you're free to use your piece personally for profile pictures, personal social media, wherever you like. I keep the right to show finished work in my own portfolio and promotional posts, unless we've specifically agreed otherwise (see Section 14 for gift/reveal timing) or unless you've gone with the Exclusive Buyout option in Section 17, which is the one case where that portfolio right doesn't apply.
17. Using the art commercially
If a piece is going to help you make money — not just sit on your profile — it needs a bit more than the standard personal-use license. Here's how that breaks down:

  • Personal use is included with every commission by default. Profile pictures, personal social media, just enjoying your art with no extra cost, nothing to ask for.

  • Creator / small commercial use is streaming assets, a small merch run, that kind of thing. Adds 50% to the base price.

  • Extended commercial use is bigger production runs, brand campaigns, anything at real scale. Adds 100% to the base price.

  • Exclusive buyout if you want the piece removed from my portfolio entirely, full ownership, sole use. This is priced individually since it's a bigger ask than the other tiers, so please see the note below.

Just let me know upfront which of these fits your plans when you reach out, so it's baked into the quote from the start instead of a surprise later.
One honest note on the buyout option: normally I keep the right to show finished work in my own portfolio (see Section 16) a buyout is the one exception to that, since it specifically means the piece comes off my portfolio too. It's a real trade-off, not just a bigger price tag, so it's worth being sure that's actually what you want before going that route.
18. AI and NFTs — a hard no
None of my art with previews included can ever be used to train an AI or machine-learning model, added to a dataset for that purpose, or minted as an NFT. This isn't negotiable, and it doesn't matter whether the piece was ever paid for.
19. When life happens (force majeure)
Neither of us is expected to be superhuman. If something genuinely outside my control such as serious illness, a natural disaster, a major outage and such delays things, I'll let you know as soon as I can, and we'll figure out a fair timeline together. Same goes the other way if something happens on your end.
20. If something technical goes wrong on my end
I keep reasonable backups of work in progress. In the rare case something's actually lost such as a hard drive failure, a corrupted file, something like that then I'll tell you right away and either restore it from backup or, if that's not possible, take the extra time needed to redo that part at no extra cost to you. Once your final files are delivered, though, please back them up yourself since I can't be responsible for files lost after they're in your hands.
21. Reference material you send me
Just like with the character itself, anything you send me like reference images, fonts, whatever it is it needs to be something you actually have the right to use. Same logic as Section 3 applies here.
22. A quick note on art as a medium
Illustration is a hand-crafted, interpretive medium and there's always going to be some natural difference between a rough reference and a finished stylized piece, and that's not a flaw, it's just how art works. The approval steps throughout the process (Section 4) exist specifically so you have real input along the way, I just can't promise infinite revisions chasing a level of exactness that isn't really how this medium works.
23. If something ever goes seriously wrong
I hope this section never actually matters, but to be upfront about it, if a dispute over a commission ever came down to a legal claim, my responsibility would be capped at whatever you actually paid for that specific piece and I wouldn't be on the hook for anything beyond that (lost opportunities, indirect costs, that sort of thing). This is a completely standard clause in professional commission agreements, not something aimed at you specifically.
24. Chargebacks
Since payment only ever happens after you've seen and approved the finished piece, a chargeback at that point isn't really "I changed my mind mid-project" it's a dispute over something you already told me you were happy with. I'll always try to sort out any issue directly first, but an unresolved chargeback will be contested using this agreement, our message history, and your recorded approval of the final piece.
25. Treating each other well
I run this professionally and expect the same courtesy back and that goes both ways. Harassment or abusive behavior from either of us toward the other is grounds to end the commission on the spot.
26. If it ever needs to go further
If a disagreement genuinely can't get resolved between us directly, small claims court (or an equivalent in your area) is the intended next step, not expensive formal litigation. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
27. A few standard legal basics
A handful of ordinary contract housekeeping items, kept short on purpose:

  • This document might get updated occasionally. Whatever version was active when you submitted your request is the one that applies to your commission.

  • If one part of this agreement ever turned out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands and it doesn't take the whole thing down with it.

  • This agreement, plus whatever specific quote we agree on, is the whole deal and it replaces any earlier verbal or written understanding about the same commission.

  • You can't hand off your side of this agreement to someone else without asking me first. I can transfer mine if I ever restructure how I run this business.

  • If I don't immediately enforce something in here one time, that doesn't mean I've given up the right to enforce it later.

  • Formal notices (the rare kind either of us might actually need to send) go through whatever channel we're already using to communicate, or the email tied to your original request.

28. That's it
